R.I.P.D. (an acronym for the Rest In Peace Department) is the RED director Robert Schwentke’s adaptation of the Dark Horse graphic novel by Peter M. Lenkov. Ryan Reynolds headlines as a recently murdered cop, Nick Walker, who joins a team of undead police officers in the afterlife. He’s partnered up with Jeff Bridges’ Old West gunslinging Sheriff Roy Pulsipher in an effort to solve Nick’s homicide and bring the perpetrator to justice.
Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, Stephanie Szostak and Robert Knepper co-star in the supernatural crime caper set for US cinemas from 19th July. There is still no word on a UK release but fans may wanna check out this super first trailer and teaser poster.
