Claw Into New Footage With ‘The Wolverine’ Japanese Trailer

I’m unsure about you lot but the excitement of James Mangold’s X-MEN spin-off sequel, THE WOLVERINE, seems to have been lost amongst an overloaded, upcoming summer blockbusting season. A couple of very underwhelming first trailers not helping matters, which followed an impressive teaser poster campaign. Perhaps we’ve just seen too much of Hugh Jackman’s adamantium-clawed mutant in the previous five outings for the character. Then again, maybe it was Gavin Hood’s woeful X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE dampening any future expectations.

I’ve no doubt most will flock to the comic-book film, assuring another huge hit for Fox and the franchise, but there is most certainly a feeling of “meh” about THE WOLVERINE returning.

Check out this new Japanese trailer for the film arriving into cinemas from 25th July 2013. The plot is based on Chris Claremont’s acclaimed comic-book arc and co-stars Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Brian Tee, Svetlana Khodchenkova.
