Willis & Malkovich Land ‘Red 2’ Comical Character Posters

GALAXY QUEST’s Dean Parisot (who is also set to direct the upcoming BILL & TED 3) takes over Robert Schwentke for action comedy sequel, RED 2. All the surviving, yet retired team members return, as they’re forced from their monotonous existence to bring out the big guns (and rocket launchers) for more madcap mayhem.

Check out these two new character posters which feature Bruce Willis’ Frank Moses and John Malkovich’s Marvin Boggs as the burned CIA operatives looking to get even. The official plot synopsis is also below:

In RED 2, the high-octane action-comedy sequel to the worldwide sleeper hit, retired black-ops CIA agent Frank Moses reunites his unlikely team of elite operatives for a global quest to track down a missing portable nuclear device. To succeed, they’ll need to survive an army of relentless assassins, ruthless terrorists and power-crazed government officials, all eager to get their hands on the next-generation weapon. The mission takes Frank and his motley crew to Paris, London and Moscow. Outgunned and outmanned, they have only their cunning wits, their old-school skills, and each other to rely on as they try to save the world—and stay alive in the process.

RED 2 co-stars Helen Mirren, Anthony Hopkins, Byung-hun Lee, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Mary Louise Parker, Neal McDonough and David Thewlis. It hit cinemas in the US from the 19th July and the UK from the 2nd August.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
