Bishop & Warpath Confirmed As Characters In ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’

Bryan Singer has confirmed the addition of two new mutants to his time-bending sequel to both the X-MEN and X-MEN: FIRST CLASS films, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The two characters confirmed are that of Bishop and Warpath. Bishop was originally a member of Professor Xavier’s Security Enforcers before travelling back in time and soon becoming an antagonist. Despite this, he is generally considered an ally. Warpath is a Native American mutant with super strength, speed, stamina etc.

There is no word yet on who will be playing these parts, as the roles were revealed via a video singer uploaded that showed the characters names on their chairs. However, most people agree that previsouly announced cast members Omar Sy and Booboo Stewart will take on the roles, if only for the fact they match the roles ethnically.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is set for release 18th July 2014. It will star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Booboo Stewart, Omar Sy, and Ian McKellen.

Omar Sy as Bishop?! That would be an extremely weird casting choice!
