First Look At Silver Samurai In New ‘The Wolverine’ Footage

Wolverine has been on our screens so regularly, it could have been hard to make the audience still excited. Expecially after the awful X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE. Luckily, THE WOLVERINE looks damn fantastic, and we have also now been treated to our very first look at latest villain The Silver Samurai. The Silver Samurai, or The SS for short…actually, best not call him that, has the ability to charge objects including his katana. Judging by this new footage, he is going to be bloody massive. Don’t blink, or you’ll miss him.

THE WOLVERINE sees James Mangold take control of Hugh Jackman’s 6th time playing the adamantium bone-coated mutant (and he’s already shooting his 7th). Wolverine travels to Japan to visit an old friend who promises him mortality, something Wolverine has been craving since the death of his beloved Jean Grey.

THE WOLVERINE is released 26th July 2013. It stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Brian Tee, Rila Fukushima, Tao Okamato, and Svetlana Khodchenkova.
