Bryan Singer has once again teased an old cast member via his twitter account. This time it’s the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. It’s kind of hard to tease such a return, as it feels as though Jackman’s Wolverine never goes away. He remained a consistent presence in the land of film, and has a solo effort to be released later this year, THE WOLVERINE. The picture just shows the back of Wolverine’s head, but does suggest a return to the haircut we all know and love. X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will see Jackman return to the role that made him famous for the 7th time, and the plot will be a time-travelling, alternate universe hopping sci-fi flick that melds Singer’s original franchise with Matthew Vaughan’s X-MEN: FIRST CLASS.
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST is set for release 18th July 2014. It will star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Booboo Stewart, Omar Sy, and Ian McKellen.
