Sales Trailer Surfaces For Dean Koontz’ Big-Screen ‘Odd Thomas’ Adaptation

A few months ago we brought you more troubling news regarding the big-screen adaptation of the first of horror author Dean Koontz’ ODD THOMAS series of novels. Shooting on the film, directed by THE MUMMY and VAN HELSING’s Stephen Sommers, was completed almost two years ago now but financial problems and studio lawsuits have seen the supernatural suspense thriller gathering dust.

ODD THOMAS is led by STAR TREK and FRIGHT NIGHT’s Anton Yelchin as the short-order cook with psychic abilities, with the first film of a hoped franchise leading him to investigate a mysterious man who may have been responsible for a series of unsolved murders. The supporting cast also includes Willem Dafoe, Patton Oswalt and Addison Timlin.
