As the hype machine continues to roll for the upcoming Guillermo Del Toro monsters vs. robots smash ’em up, we’ve seen plenty of the Jaegers (robots) and some teasing of the Kaiju (monsters), so now let’s take a look at the human element behind the massive machines. Here’s a brand new still of Charlie Hunnam as Raleigh Becket, the pilot of Gipsy Danger. Hunnam is best known for his role in the TV series SONS OF ANARCHY, and although he wont be the biggest star in PACIFIC RIM, it will be up to him and his cast mates to bring the emotional core.
PACIFIC RIM is released 12th July 2013. It stars Idris Elba, Ron Perlman, Charlie Hunnam, Rinko Kikuchi and Charlie Day.
