Awesome First Trailer For Simon Pegg, Nick Frost & Edgar Wright’s ‘The World’s End’

We’ve all been waiting for this for quite a long time now and although we didn’t know such incredible success would come the way of the trio when SHAUN OF THE DEAD opened in 2004, that film cemented Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as cult-legends – even after the massively UK success of SPACED.

HOT FUZZ, of course, followed in 2007 and now 6 years later, we have the finale of the lovingly-named Cornetto Trilogy. Today’s trailer is looking truly epic and looks like a mix from both of the previous outings, for those who are just finding it today, the films follows five friends who reunite in an attempt to top their epic pub crawl from 20 years earlier unwittingly become humankind’s only hope for survival…surely this will be a thing of legend, once again!?

THE WORLD’S END is released in the UK on July 19th and 23rd August in the USA. It’s directed by Edgar Wright and stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Rosamund Pike, David Bradley, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsden.
