Sam Claflin Goes ‘Posh’ For Stage Adaptation

Sam Claflin

The adaptation of Laura Wade’s stage hit Posh has announced more casting news, adding another would-be heartthrob into the mix.  Sam Claflin, best known to moviegoers for his role in SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, joins Max Irons and Douglas Booth in the telling of Oxford’s infamous Bullingdon Club and what its members get up to when they really let loose.

The play, first staged at the Royal Court in 2010, was a hit as it explored the privileged world of the Oxford elite and how one evening can impact your future.  Revived in the West End in 2012, the production continually draws interest due to the high profile members of the real Bullingdon Club including David Cameron, Boris Johnson and George Osbourne.

Viewers can catch Claflin later this year in the next installment in the HUNGER GAMES saga, THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE, where he stars as a tribute fighting for his life.

Also rumored to be joining the cast of POSH is TWILIGHT alum Robert Pattinson, so expect huge interest as this movie starts filming.

Production is due to start this month, with a release date in 2014.
