Zombies are showing no signs of slowing down in director Marc Foster’s adaptation of WORLD WAR Z. Based on a book by Max Brooks, son of comedic genius Mel Brooks, there looks to be a distinct lack of comedy in this film in which the undead don’t so much stalk the Earth, as they do run around and cause absolute destruction. It certainly looks more like an action film than horror, and with a PG-13 rating, you can bet the gore is going to be on the low side. Brad Pit stars as Gerry Lane, a United Nations employee doing all he can to stop the crisis.
WORLD WAR Z is released on 21st June. It stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Matthew Fox, Eric West, David Morse, and James Badge Dale.
