The latest poster for director Marc Forster’s big-budget epic flesh-eating actioner WORLD WAR Z has been unleashed. It displays the onslaught of the infestation of the zombies as seen in the first trailers, heading in the casts direction (although they appear fairly unfazed).
The film is based on Max Brooks’ acclaimed same-titled best-selling novel. It’s centred on a UN representative Gerry Lane’s attempts at escaping the escalating epidemic of the swarming legions of the undead, while on a mission to source it’s origin and finding a cure. Brad Pitt leads the thriller which has had a rather rocky road to the big-screen, with Paramount Pictures confirming Damon Lindelof was brought in to do a script rewrite and fix the ending, as well 4 weeks of reshoots. It appears to have worked as early test screenings have been extremely positive, despite the worry of the tame PG-13 rating. Intense is the buzz word.
WORLD WAR Z is released 21st June and co-stars Matthew Fox, David Morse, David Andrews, Mireille Enos, Bryan Cranston, James Badge Dale and Elyes Gabel.
