Yesterday saw us bring you the first teasing promo image from director James Wan’s supernatural sequel to spookfest smash INSIDIOUS. Now we have the first couple of stills from the ghostly chiller that sees cast members Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Ty Simpkins, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey, Angus Sampson and Leigh Whannell (again responsible for the story and screenplay) all return for CHAPTER 2!
The original film, which was later officially revealed to be the most profitable film of 2011, will again follow the unlucky Lambert family as they’re lives are still haunted by the previous events and who need to look to the past to discover the mysterious childhood secret that explains their dangerous connection to the spirit world.
Fingers crossed this is not just a cash-in but considering the conclusion of the first film, we’re yet to be convinced.
INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER TWO is set to scare cinemagoers from the 13th September.
