Cool New Posters & Toy Merchandise For ‘Kick-Ass 2’

A total of eight new minimalist character posters have been released from Universal Pictures’ adult-themed comic-book sequel, KICK-ASS 2. Jeff Wadlow takes over the helm from the original’s Matthew Vaughn in the franchise based on Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s graphic-novel in which teenager Dave Lizewski’s dreams of reinventing himself as a costumed superhero are fully realised. Well, with the help of a potty-mouthed preteen assassin known as Hit Girl.

Both Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Grace Moretz return as the heroic title character and his sweary sidekick, who team up with a host of wannabe renegades to take on Christopher Mintz-Plasse’s vengeful Motherfucker. The film, which hits the UK 14th August and the US two days later, co-stars Jim Carrey, Donald Faison, Lindy Booth, Clark Duke, John Leguizamo, Morris Chestnut and Lyndsy Fonseca.

We’ve also added the first look at the glorious upcoming collectable action-figure range from NECA, which will be available at this San Diego Comic-Con before a general release closer to the film’s release date.
