Earlier in the week we brought you the first poster for the fact-based serial-killer thriller THE FROZEN GROUND. Now, we have the second one-sheet, again featuring the two leads John Cusack and Nicolas Cage.
The film is directed by Scott Walker and tells the shocking true-story of the mass-murderer Robert Hansen. His notorious methods saw the amateur pilot pick up ‘call girls’ in nearby cities, only to drug and fly them out to the Alaskan wilderness. Going on to hunt them for sport. However, a young women was able to escape and help the Law Enforcement authorities to build up a profile of the human hunter, who is believed to have 21 victims to his name.
Cusack appears as an uncanny likeness to the real killer, while Cage portrays the detective Glenn Flothe, the man brought in to track him down. SPRING BREAKERS’ Vanessa Hudgens steams it up as the surviving stripping stunner. Missing from the previous poster is the name 50 Cent. Fingers crossed the producers saw fit to remove him from all scenes in what was an impressive supporting cast spoiled by the (c)rap superstar.
Dean Norris, Radha Mitchell, Kevin Dunn and Kurt Fuller co-star in the film set for UK cinemas 19th July, although we’re still awaiting a US date.

Hansen is a serial killer, not a mass murderer.

I’d say 21 Victims is a pretty large ‘mass’ of murdering for one individual. I did also mention in the piece he was a serial killer too.
