New Footage Found In Ace ‘Kick-Ass 2’ International Trailer

There can’t be many that didn’t find some sort of insane joy in Matthew Vaughn’s cult wannabe superhero caper, KICK-ASS. While a sequel had been talked about immediately, and for quite sometime, it’s taken almost four years to come to fruition. Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Grace Moretz return as the heroic title character and his foul-mouthed sidekick. As does their revenge-striken nemesis Red Mist,  played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who’s now reborn as The Motherfucker!

Following on from a super set of simplistic character posters and the first look at the awesome toy merchandise, we’ve a brand new international trailer featuring some previously unseen footage.

Jeff Wadlow takes over Vaughn as writer/director of the action sequel, KICK-ASS 2, which is again based on the comic book created by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. Jim Carrey, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Lindy Booth, Olga Kurkulina, and Nicolas Cage co-star. It lands in US cinemas from 16th August and the UK two days earlier.
