Ouch! If you are a Jimmy/Steve fan on Showtime’s adaptation of SHAMELESS, you will be sad to know that executive producer John Wells revealed at a recent Emmy panel that Justin Chatwin will not be reprising his role when the series returns for season four. While Wells did say that Steve will not be in season four, a rep for SHAMELESS USA said that he could return for ‘one or two episodes‘ but it looks set to be a cover up, as Wells pretty much confirmed that Jimmy is caput.
Like the Channel 4 series, the show follows the dysfunctional Gallagher family as they try and live life on the rough side of Chicago. Chatwin played Steve Lisham, the equivalent of James McAvoy’s Steve in the Channel 4 hit show. The US adaptation of SHAMELESS has proven to be a hit, despite the usual curse of UK series not working over there. And now that SHAMELESS has finished on C4, will you be clinging to SHAMELESS USA as a rebound?
