It was announced today that FINAL DESTINATION creator Jeffrey Reddick has signed up for his next project – an adaptation of Ty Drago’s Young Adult series THE UNDERTAKERS. Reddick will join forces with Modernciné Films to bring the film to the big screen. Speaking about his latest project, Reddick said:
“I’ve been trying to find a project to do with Andrew for years and when I read Ty’s book I knew this was the one. It’s a unique concept with compelling characters and a fun mixture of adventure, cool sci-fi and intense horror.”
The first book of the series, THE UNDERTAKERS: RISE OF THE CORPSES was released back in 2011. The book series follows a 12 year old boy called Will Ritter who joins forces with teenage resistance fighters who band together to battle the Corpses. It is thought that Reddick has already written a screenplay on the first book.
