First Trailer Arrives For Lake Bell’s Comedy ‘In A World…’

The first trailer has arrived for Lake Bell’s comedy IN A WORLD online today ahead of the movie’s scheduled release later this year. The project, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah before also screening at Sundance London, is the directorial debut from actress Lake Bell (IT’S COMPLICATED, NO STRING’S ATTACHED) and also stars Fred Melamed (A SERIOUS MAN, THE DICTATOR). Check out the synopsis below:

Carol (Lake Bell), an underachieving vocal coach and the daughter of a famous movie trailer voiceover artist, sets out to become the voice of movie trailers, much to the chagrin of her self-absorbed father (Fred Melamed).

The trailer shows off the comic awkward relationship Carol has with her father and those in the male-dominated world of voice over artists.  It also gives a small peek into the cameos that stars including Cameron Diaz, Eva Longoria, Geena Davies and Nick Offerman make in the movie.  The quirky cast of characters and snappy dialogue are also at the forefront here.
