First up is the IMAX poster for Neill Blomkamp’s follow-up the to well-recieved sci-fi thriller DISTRICT 9. Matt Damon stars as man living on future Earth that is decimated, while the rich live on a luxurious man-made space station in the outer atmosphere. However when he finds his days are numbered, he attempts bring these two polarised worlds together. The stunning new trailer appeared only hours ago.
Next is a couple of character posters from magical, mythological sequel, PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS, which see both Logan Lerman and Brandon T. Jackson reprise their roles from Chris Columbus’ original adventure. Thor Freudenthal directs the film hitting cinemas 7th of August and co-stars Nathan Fillion, Sean Bean, Alexandra Daddario, Stanley Tucci and Jake Abel.
Next we see Ryan Gosling light up this neon poster for a ultra-violent reunion with DRIVE director Nicolas Winding Refn. ONLY GOD FORGIVES sees the heartthrob as a Thailand boxing club owner fronting a major drug empire. However, when his brother is murdered by a corrupt cop, he’s forced by this crime lord mother to reap vengeance. Expect more ruthless carnage in this one slated for the US 19th July and UK 2nd August.
Finally, we have Brian DePalma’s return to the big-screen for the first time since 2007s REDACTED. Seductive thriller PASSION centres on a workplace rivalry between the manipulative boss of an advertising agency and her talented protégée escalates from stealing credit to public humiliation and murder. Stunners Rachael McAdams and Noomi Rapace are the duo at war in the film still awaiting release dates.
