A brand new trailer for author Cassandra Clare’s young adult adaptation THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES, has arrived.
The film is directed by Harald Zwart and is set during modern-day New York City, as beautiful young teen Clary Fray (Lily Collins), discovers that she is a descendant of a family line known as Shadowhunters, who are a secret otherworldly organisation of half-angel/half human warriors who protect the both worlds from evil forces that come in form of supernatural creatures such as demons, werewolves and vampires. She’s forced to face this realisation following the kidnapping of her mother (Lena Headey) by these eveildoers.
Could be special but to put it bluntly, we’ve just got our fingers crossed it ain’t as shite as THE TWILIGHT SAGA.
THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES is released 23rd August. It stars Lilly Collins, Lena Headey, Aidan Turner, Jamie Campbell Bower, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Kevin Zegers, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Durand, Jared Harris, and Jemima West.
