Great news for VERONICA MARS fans! It was announced at the weekend that the movie has added five new cast members to the kickstarter funded movie, but do not worry, they are all familiar faces. Ryan Hansen, Krysten Ritter, Brandon Hillock, Kevin Sheridan, and Jonathan Chesner will be rejoining Kristen Bell and the gang to reprise their roles in the cult series.
The new cast members have been showing their excitement for their latest roles. Ryan Hansen, who played Dick Casabalancas in all three seasons, posted this video explaining how his role went from being an extra to being a regular. Krysten Ritter played Gia Goodman in season two, and she posted this on her Twitter account:
“VERONICA MARS has a special place in my heart because it was my first big acting job (!!!!!!) and it was also one of the most lovely on-set experiences you could ever ask for. This will truly be an awesome shoot, not only because we all get to be reunited (can’t WAIT!) but because of the revolutionary way this all was able to come to life!”
VERONICA MARS movie now has a 16 strong cast, filled with actors that appeared in the show. But it is still unclear whether fan favourites like Teddy Dunn, Ken Marino, Alyson Hannigan or Duane Daniels will be reprising their roles for the movie.
