You may not have heard of Jack Paglen just yet, but don’t worry, you will. He’s the guy responsible for writing Christopher Nolan’s cinematographer Wally Pfister’s directorial debut, TRANSCENDENCE. That’s quite the opening gig, and it has certainly got the attention of people in high places as Paglen will once again go sci-fi for the sequel to the ALIEN prequel that is PROMETHEUS.
PROMETHEUS may not have been everyone’s cup of tea, mostly because it just wasn’t very good, but hopefully a new writer can inject sometension, heart, and soul. We have no idea about a plot just yet, as it could follow Noomi Rapace’s character, or just be a completely different beast altogether. It’s also unclear as to when PROMETHEUS 2 will get underway, as director Ridley Scott is also working on a BLADE RUNNER sequel.
