Gambling thriller RUNNER, RUNNER sees former Disney imp and pop pin-up-turned-pretty good actor Justin Timberlake lead the film directed by THE LINCOLN LAWYER’s Brad Furman. Princeton grad student Richie (Timberlake), believing he’s been swindled, travels to Costa Rica to confront online gambling tycoon Ivan Block (Affleck). Richie is seduced by Block’s promise of immense wealth, until he learns the disturbing truth about his benefactor.
