It may have only just been on, but the Olivier Awards are already gearing themselves up for 2014, with the announcement that they will be returning 13th April, once again at the prestigious Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
But for 2014 the prestigious theatre awards will introduce a new category- “Outstanding Achievement In Music“. This will give the chance of nominees to come together from across all music fields including composition of original music for plays, orchestration and musical supervision/direction. If any productions are looking to be eligible for the awards, the cut off date will be Tuesday 25th February.
2013 Olivier Awards were a huge hit this year, with winners including THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, TOP HAT and SWEENEY TODD winning awards. Is it next year already?
