Steve Coogan’s most famous comic creation will be transferred to the big-screen in much-anticipated ALAN PARTRIDGE: ALPHA PAPA. His tragically hilarious North Norfolk Digital Radio Disc Jockey becomes embroiled in a siege at a local station when his high-pressured former colleague (played by Colm Meaney) cracks on air and demands a confrontation with the failed Norwich-native chat show host.
Will Coogan be able to make the character work on the big-screen after decades on radio, stage and television? Only time will tell but being a huge Partridge fan over the years from humbling beginnings on the BBC and the latest tradition to Sky Atlantic, my hopes are sky high!
