Marvel’s cinematic universe continues to grow, which of course means more talent getting involved. FAST AND FURIOUS star Vin Diesel has recently revealed via his Facebook page, that Marvel have requested a meeting with him:

So at this point there’s no indication of what role he will be up for, but I don’t really see him as a DOCTOR STRANGE or ANT-MAN. I think they’ll probably want to utilise Diesel’s best asset, which was put to good use in THE IRON GIANT, his voice. I think he’d make an excellent Rocket Raccoon or Groot in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. It would also make sense that Marvel are looking for voice actors after having cast principle cast members. However, these talks may lead to nothing, and it may just be a chance for Marvel to gauge Diesel’s interest at this point.

Let’s hope he’s in for some voice work, so that his inexpressive face doesn’t have to pollute yet another movie.
