Dubbed the next HUNGER GAMES franchise, we’re going to get our first look at DIVERGENT at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The film’s main character Tris Prior, played by Shailene Woodley, is born into a society divided into personality-based factions and labeled a ‘divergent’. She goes on to uncover a plot to destroy all those who don’t fit into a social group. The movie is based on New York Times futuristic bestseller by Veronica Roth.
At Comic-Con, cast members and director Neil Burge will present footage from the film and sign autographs. DIVERGENT will also star Miles Teller, Kate Winslet, Theo James, Jai Courtney, Zoe Kravitz and Ashley Judd, and has a US release date of 21st March 2014.
