Timothy Simons, a regular on television series Veep, has joined the cast of INHERENT VICE.
Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (THE MASTER), Simons joins Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon, Jena Malone, Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin, Martin Short, Owen Wilson, Maya Rudolph and Katherine Waterston – now that’s a cast! Based on the novel written by Thomas Pynchon, Phoenix plays a pot-smoking detective who is drawn into a case involving a murdered girl he used to date.
Filming for the 1970s-based thriller has already begun. With a cast this huge and talented, we’re in for a treat!
