You’ve probably heard of a little well-known series called Doctor Who and the fact we’ve reached it’s 50th Anniversary, wait, you haven’t? Yes, yes, of course you have! Well, to celebrate this astonishing achievement in television the BBC have been throwing on all kinds of events already this year including screenings at the BFI, brilliant limited T-Shirt designs and we’ve also eventually got Mark Gatiss’ An Adventure In Space And Time to look forward to in November.
If you were at the Paris Comic Con this weekend, you were also treated to the first look at the one-off drama and we’re very pleased to share with you what we’ve seen so far. In the show, Brit-legend David Bradley takes on the honourable role of the first-ever Doctor played by William Hartnell. In these shots, we also get to see Claudia Grant as Carol Anne Ford, Brian Cox as Sydney Newman, the beautiful Jessica Raine as producer Verity Lambert and Sacha Dhawan as Waris Hussein, who directed that series that started in November 1963.
