Sean Pertwee Joins ‘Elementary’

Sean PertweeELEMENTARY season two just keeps on getting bigger, doesn’t it? Back in May we revealed that the season two opener for the CBS hit show would be heading to London, and then a month later it was announced that Rhys Ifans would be joining the show as Sherlock Holmes’ (played by Jonny Lee Miller) brother Mycroft. Now we have another Brit actor to add to the mix, as Sean Pertwee revealed that he will be heading to the show too!

Pertwee took to his Twitter to announce the news that he will playing the role of Lestrade:

The news took a while to hit the web, mainly because nobody had a clue that the actor was on Twitter (we certainly didn’t!). We’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for what roles he secretly announces next!

ELEMENTARY is currently shooting in London for their season two opener. The episode will see Sherlock and Joan Watson (played by Lucy Liu) returning to Sherlock’s home town to solve a case.
