With the release of Entertainment Weekly’s Comic Con special, there has been a host of exciting new images coming from the likes of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, I, FRANKENSTEIN and the latest Marvel One-Shot, AGENT CARTER. However, lets not forget Screen Gems will be making an appearance to promote their forthcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s classic horror, CARRIE.
CARRIE, which is being directed by BOYS DON’T CRY’s Kimberly Pierce, stars Chloe Grace Moretz as troubled teen Carrie White, a high-school outcast struggling to find her way in a cruel, modern world. If it’s not the high-school bullies pushing her buttons, it’s her devoutly (and disturbed) religious mother (played by Julianne Moore). Thinking she may have finally found a few friends and prom date, her secret terrifying, telekinetic abilities are unleashed on her small town when she’s mocked during a torturous prank.
Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde and Ansel Elgort co-star in the film arriving in the US from 18th October and the UK on the 29th November. Check out this shattering new still!
