Although it sometimes seems that animation studios are releasing new ideas all the time, I think we all occasionally forget how much work goes into literally every second. I’m not saying that it’s not appreciated but most animations can take twice as long to make compared to your standard affair.
To celebrate this and the release of MONSTERS UNIVERSITY today, we’ve got a tremendous little insight into one particular scene in the prequel to MONSTERS INC and it shows you how much is involved. One of the things that I loved the most about MONSTERS UNIVERSITY is the sheer amount of detail for every shot, we’re not talking your average scene either because the complexity and the vast plethora of characters is simply phenomenal. So, to help prove this a little we’ve got hold of this great sequence that sees Sulley holding up Mike after they’ve just caught Archie The Scare Pig in a rather amusing scene…yes, a Scare Pig – you’ll see!
