Action-Comedy Spec ‘The Lost’ Picked Up By New Line

Shawn Levy, the man behind the likes of THE INTERNSHIP and NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, has signed on T.J. Fixman’s THE LOST which is described as an action-comedy spec with the following synopsis:

Two reformed first-time offenders must clear their name after they are framed for the murder of their parole officer.

Fixman started life on video games with Ratchet and Clank but has recently sold ONE NIGHT ON THE HUDSON to Universal and is one to look out for. Meanwhile, Levy has also recently been directing Jason Bateman in THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU and next up for him is Disney’s 70s kids book, with a title that’s sure to be shortened, ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY. Yes, it’s still that long at the moment!

THE LOST seems like the next project for Vaughn and Wilson (Read our positive review of THE INTERNSHIP) but surely those two as ex-offenders would be pushing the reality button a little too far. Whatever happens, it’s a long way off at the moment but we’ll bring you news as we hear it!
