Gareth Edwards Video Message Teases ‘Godzilla’s SDCC Appearance

Things are hotting up for next weeks Comic Con as Hollywood brings its big hitters to downtown San Diego and THN will be there to bring you all the gossip and goodies from the iconic event. One of the most anticipated efforts stomping into California will be Legendary Pictures’ big-budget re-imagining of Japanese colossus creature, GODZILLA.

The film is currently being directed by Gareth Edwards, who has released this Comic-Con message from the set on behalf of Legendary. Here, Edwards says the company has “something very exciting planned” for this year’s SDCC, adding “Something very big is heading to San Diego”.

The mysterious viral campaign has just kicked off, while GODZILLA’s presence has already been felt on the city’s sidewalks. We await with interest to see what the studio had in store for fans and we’ll be there every thunderous step of the way! In the meantime, that video message from Edwards…

GODZILLA will be released 16th May 2014. It stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, Bryan Cranston, Sally Hawkins, Akira Takarada and David Strathairn.
