‘Glee’ Season Five May Be Delayed Until November

Following the devastating news of the passing of Cory Monteith, it has been revealed that GLEE’s season five might not coming back until November. The show was set to start production next week, with an air date of September 29th, but rumours have hit the web stating that Fox are considering to delay the production a month ‘to let everyone breathe’.

Monteith, who played Finn Hudson on the show, was still a key player on the show despite the fact his character graduated in season three. It was believed that his character played a pivotal part in season five’s opener as the show’s creators took an unusual step of writing the new season’s first two episodes in a bid to get renewed.

Monteith had been out of rehab since April, and had been vocal about his excitement about getting back to work. GLEE’s promotional photos for season five had already been shot (A sneak peak of Monteith’s promo hit Instagram a couple of weeks ago, pictured above) and he had visited the show’s creator Ryan Murphy on the set of his movie THE NORMAL HEART  just a couple of weeks.

Whatever happens, we hope that Fox and the showrunners of GLEE give Cory Monteith a send off he truly deserves.
