It’s either the best news to come to FOX in a long time or the worst, but we’re sure the fans will decide if it’s good or not! It was revealed that the two shows, known for their ‘friendly’ rivalry over the years, will now be joining forces for a special cross over.
FAMILY GUY will be playing host to the episode and will see THE SIMPSONS cast members Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria lending their voices. The episode, titled ‘The Simpsons Guy’, will see The Griffins taking a road trip and ending up in Springfield. There, they meet Homer Simpson, and the families fast become friends. Stewie is impressed by Bart’s pranks, while Peter and Homer argue over which beer is better.
The announcement of a cross over episode comes just months after FAMILY GUY’s creator Seth MacFarlane lent his voice to THE SIMPSONS season 24’s finale. But, in true FAMILY GUY style, the episode is not expected to air for at least a year.
