Comic Con: First Official Image Of A More Mature Caesar From ‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’

Earlier on on Saturday THN were live-blogging from the impressive 20th Century Fox panel at the San Diego Comic Con. Andy Serkis, Keri Russell and director Matt Reeves turned up to show us some early very ape-less footage from the film, but right at the end of the clip we got to see an image of a more mature Caesar looking right at camera, surrounded by his army of primates. Caesar was described as being ten years older from when RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES ended, and more paternal as Reeves revealed he has had a son since we last saw him.

We described on our live blog that Caesar was seen to have a red stripe down his forehead, and the first official image from the film reveals just that. It is exactly the same as the footage we saw today.
