Disappearance of E Rigby

Hot on the heels of yesterdays announcement of the full line up for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) the first still from Special Presentation THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ELEANOR RIGBY: HIM AND HER has been released.  The film stars James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain as a married couple who each tell the story of their relationship from their perspective and the two-parts will be screened together as a 190 minute feature. Bill Hader, William Hurt, Viola Davis and Katherine Waterston also star in the movie which is the first feature from writer/director Ned Benson.

McAvoy was at San Diego’s Comic Con last week for the brilliant X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST panel where old and new cast sat side by side in an historic day in Hall H.  Filming is currently taking place on the movie that is due out in July 2014.  Next up for release for McAvoy is FILTH; the adaption of Irvine Welsh’s controversial novel in which he takes the lead as self destructive detective Bruce Robertson alongside Imogen Poots, Shirley Henderson, Jamie Bell and Jim Broadbent and due out in October.

Chastain was last seen on our screens in horror film MAMA and 2014 is looking busy for the actress with MISS JULIE, THE ZOO-KEEPER’S WIFE and Christopher Nolan’s INTERSTELLAR all due to hit our screens.
