We loved the first trailer for the upcoming SAVING MR. BANKS when it debuted a couple of weeks ago, and now we’ve got the first poster for the movie which sees Tom Hanks star as Walt Disney, and Emma Thompson as MARY POPPINS author P.L. Travers. Also starring in the biopic are Colin Farrell, Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman, Bradley Whitford, Annie Rose Buckley, Ruth Wilson, B.J. Novak, Rachel Griffiths and Kathy Baker.
The film follows the story of Walt Disney on his quest to woo British author P.L. Travels in his 20-year quest to bring her classic novel ‘Mary Poppins,’ to the big screen.
John Lee Hancock directs from a screenplay by Kelly Marcel.
