Despite failing with the bold poster statement of ‘The Most Terrifying Film You Will Ever Experience’, there was still a lot to love about Fede Alvarez’ brutal and bloody EVIL DEAD reboot. The South American, who landed that job on the back of the awesome short sci-fi film PANIC ATTACK, is now set to return to the genre with MACHINA having sold his mysterious sci-fi/action project to MRC.
The company have since tasked him to direct. However, plot details are being kept well under wraps but Alvarez will again co-write the script with his partner Rodo Sayagues. As ever, we’ll endeavour to bring you updates on cast and production.
