Have Warner Bros. Found Their Batman For ‘Man Of Steel’ Sequel?

This week we’ve seen a number of actors rumoured for the role of an ‘older’ Batman/Bruce Wayne, who’ll play a major part in Zack Snyder’s upcoming MAN OF STEEL sequel. Names like Matthew Goode, Ryan Gosling, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Josh Brolin and Gerard Butler have all been mentioned. However, a mysterious Tweet was posted only an hour or so ago that has now mysteriously disappeared (or been forcibly removed). It came from the British actor and professional martial artist Scott Adkins’ personal Twitter account.

We’re unsure if this is a playful link to appease fans who recently ran an online campaign to see Adkins cast as the Caped Crusader or if he’s indeed landed the role but may have been asked by the studio to remove the message. He’s perhaps best known to the mainstream for roles in THE EXPENDABLES 2 and ZERO DARK THIRTY but with his skills he’s also an accomplished stuntman so it’s possible he could done the cowl as the ass-kicking alter-ego of the actor ultimately cast as Bruce Wayne. We await with interest but with Snyder’s track record of turning relative unknown/rising actors (Butler in 300 and Henry Cavill in his Superman reboot) into superstars, it’s possible!
