It looks like Fox definitely like to keep it in the family, as it was revealed that musician and X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato is gearing up to join Glee for season five.
If the sources are true, Lovato will be starring as Dani, a struggling New York musician who is friends with characters Rachel (Lea Michele) and Santana (Naya Rivera). It is also believed that her character will be interacting frequently with other new guest star Adam Lambert (check out how he came to join the Glee cast here).
This isn’t Lovato’s first acting job; she starred in Disney Channel’s Sonny With A Chance and also featured in Disney Channel Original Movies like CAMP ROCK and PRINCESS PROTECTION PROGRAMME alongside Selena Gomez. Lovato took a break from acting to focus on her music career.
Glee season five returns to the US from September 26th.
