The world is going crazy speculating as to who will be playing the new Batman in the MAN OF STEEL sequel, which is being billed as SUPERMAN VS BATMAN, or BATMAN VS SUPERMAN, following the huge reveal that we witnessed first hand at the San Diego Comic Con last month.
There has been whispers that Christian Bale has apparently been offered a whopping $50 million to return as The Dark Knight, but the truth of the matter is that nobody knows anything about this casting really, but will that changed within the next 30 days? One of the Internet’s most reliable sources El Mayimbe, founder of Latino Review, posted the following on Twitter.

Meanwhile, four more names are being thrown in the hat for the role. We’ll briefly mention them. Christopher Nolan has apparently said that the first is his favourite for the role. Wes Bentley, the star AMERICAN BEAUTY, THE HUNGER GAMES and currently INTERSTELLAR, directed by Nolan, which has just kicked off shooting. The other three names are Jake Gyllenhaal, Luke Evans, and Ben Affleck, who have all been asked to screen test for the role over at the WB. Cosmic Book News report the above saying that auditions for the Batman role start in September, which an official announcement to be made in late-September/ October, which obviously contradicts the above.
