HOT TUB TIME MACHINE’s sequel will have Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke and Chevy Chase reprising their roles, and will be joined by Adam Scott and Gillian Jacobs. However, unfortunately John Cusack will not be returning but Scott will be playing his son, as Corddry explains:
‘Adam Scott is playing his son from 10 years in the future. His son that was conceived in 1986 on the night with Jenny Stedmeyer.’
Due to an alteration in the timeline at the end of HOT TUB TIME MACHINE (Butterfly Effect anyone?), Corddry’s character Lou is a billionaire who practically owns New Orleans.
