Poster For Kelly Reichardt’s ‘Night Moves’ Starring Dakota Fanning & Jesse Eisenberg

Most North Americans know Bob Seger’s epic summer tune ‘Night Moves‘ and although my initial frame of mind thought that’s what NIGHT MOVES, directed by Kelly Reichardt, might be about…well, I couldn’t be more wrong but I think I can still share the song by clicking this link, you won’t regret it. Moving on quickly and before I digress even further, Reichardt’s film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Dakota Fanning and Peter Sarsgaard plus Rising starlet Katherine Waterston (click here for more info on her) and focuses on those initial three and their plans of blowing up a hydroelectric dam. Indeed.

These radical environmentalists hate everything that’s a resource-devouring industrial culture and so far, that’s all we’ve really got. They’ve been shooting since October of last year and now we have a poster as it’s set to play at the Toronto International Film Festival next month after debuting at Venice. I always like having less information before a film but this poster indicates that something may have already been set up in terms of explosives so maybe that’s how we begin!
