I implore you not to miss Adam Wingard’s brutal and brilliant suspense shocker YOU’RE NEXT, which arrives in the US tomorrow and the UK 28th August. The twisted thriller is easily the finest genre hit of the year and part of that is down to the breakout role of the stunning Aussie actress Sharni Vinson (click this link to catch my review).
Her role in the film has certainly caught more eyes than just mine, as she’s now joined the cast of producer Adi Shankar’s currently-untitled all-female EXPENDABLES actioner. There are still no plot details but we do know Vinson joins the already onboard Gina Carano (HAYWIRE, FAST & FURIOUS 6) and Katee Sackhoff (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, RIDDICK), in the film currently being written by Dutch Southern.
Seeing how Vinson handles herself in the forthcoming fright flick and you’ll see she makes an excellent addition.
