I admit upon seeing the full trailer for CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2, I wondered why I still haven’t watched the first one yet. The unquestionable weirdness appeals once again with this clip and doesn’t seem to be moving too far away from the pure surrealism of this upcoming animation sequel.
The follow-up features Flint Lockwood (voiced by Bill Hader) now working at The Live Corp Company for his idol Chester V (Will Forte). However, he soon learns that his crazy, infamous machine is still operational and is churning out menacing food-animal hybrids and it must be stopped! I believe. So, in that case it’s time to recruit the gang! Madness, but brilliant looking madness in the clip here:
CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 stars the voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Will Forte, Andy Samberg, Benjamin Bratt, Neil Patrick Harris, Terry Crews and Kristen Schaal. It opens in the USA on September 27th and 25th October in the UK just in time for Half-Term – of course!
