Darling of the moment, Matthew McConaughey, once again impresses in this first trailer for DALLAS BUYERS CLUB. McConaughey stars as an electrician diagnosed with AIDS and then begins smuggling alternative treatments to fellow sufferers. Jared Leto co-stars as a transsexual cohort and both the actors are facing early awards talk. However, if you’re playing a transsexual or an AIDS victim, what do you expect?
McConaughey has been onto an incredible spree of late, with BERNIE, KILLER JOE, THE PAPERBOY, MUD and MAGIC MIKE. He’s also got roles in the upcoming efforts of Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan with THE WOLF OF WALL STREET and INTERSTELLAR.
DALLAS BUYERS CLUB will premiere at the TIFF on 1st November, with a limited US release on 6th December and a UK release date of 7th February 2014.
