First Clip And New Stills From ‘Kill Your Darlings’

KILL YOUR DARLINGS, directed by John Krokidas, had its successful world premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in January and is set to play at the Toronto International Film Festival before its general release. The film details the origins of the Beat movement and the events that bring together poets Allen Ginsberg (Daniel Radcliffe), Jack Kerouac (Jack Huston), William S. Burroughs (Ben Foster) and Lucien Carr (Dane DeHaan). In this first clip, showcasing DeHaan’s fantastic acting, the rebellious Carr recites a poem from a restricted book as Ginsberg looks on in admiration. The four new stills show Radcliffe as Ginsberg, DeHaan as Carr, Michael C. Hall as David Kammerer and David Cross as Allen’s father, Louis Ginsberg.

At its Sundance premiere, the film received critical acclaim. This is one to be excited about.

KILL YOUR DARLINGS also stars Kyra Sedgwick, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Elizabeth Olsen. It opens on October 18th.
